Sexual Dysfunction, Causes and How to Overcome

Sexual activity is a biological need of every human being to have a child. However, sexual problems in domestic life is often experienced delays or interference because one party (husband or wife) or even both, are experiencing sexual harassment or sexual dysfunction. If not treated promptly, this problem can only cause a rift in the household.

Sexual dysfunction is itself a condition in which sexual function in one's body has begun to weaken. The condition can occur when we are young, and in the elderly due to physical and mental condition of diminishing returns.

The condition of sexual dysfunction can occur in men and women. In men can be hiposeksualitas (reduced sexual desire), Impotensia (erectile ability is reduced or not capable at all), premature ejaculation, and anorgosmia (not to orgasm). Whereas in women, sexual dysfunction can be hiposeksualitas (reduced sexual desire), frigidity (cold toward sex or not excited at all), fobio seksualis (fear and disgust at sexual intercourse), vaginismus, disparuenia (painful intercourse), and anorgasmia ( can not orgasm).

Sexual dysfunction is caused by various disorders and diseases, both physically and mentally. Physical ailments that cause sexual dysfunction are diabetes mellitus (diabetes), anemia, malnutrition, venereal disease, brain disease and bone marrow, due to prostate surgery in men, the tumor or cancer of the uterus in women, declining hormones (in men and women), result of ovarian surgery, the use of drugs, tranquilizers, alcohol, and cigarettes. While mental illness that causes sexual dysfunction is a psychosis, schizoprenia, anxiety neurosis, hysterical, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, phobias, personality disorders or psycho-sexual, and mental retardation and impaired intelligence.

Sexual dysfunction should be sought because penanggulannya can cause bigger problems if not addressed early on. Impotensia, for example, can arise due to various diseases of the body or the local disease in the male penis, such as diabetes, which usually causes a man not capable of having sexual desire. To overcome this, diabetes should be treated first. Meanwhile, to treat frigidity in women can be done with biological factors (the desire at the time of ovulation and menstruation), psychological factors (remove the fear or disgust), and psychodynamic factors (gross pain, fear of rejection partner, and so on). By overcoming sexual dysfunction at early stages, is expected to create a healthy household and harmonious.
